UPDATE: Roger Waters, David Gilmour and Nick Mason reunited on stage for the finale Outside The Wall of Waters' hugely successful The Wall Live show at The O2 Arena, London, on 12th May 2011.
Roger Waters The Wall Live won 'Major Tour of 2010 (USA)' at the prestigious Pollstar Awards earlier this year and is currently on a 64-date sell-out tour of Europe.
The clip for Outside The Wall, plus that for Comfortably Numb can be seen above. Nick Mason, David Gilmour and Roger Waters Behind The Scenes: O2 Arena 2011 can be viewed below.
A capacity audience was astounded to see David appear atop the wall, recreating his parts from the classic album while adding his own unique sound and style, to the delight of the crowd.
That wasn't all. At the end of the show, Roger gave a gracious introduction to David and then Nick Mason, who joined David and Roger on Outside The Wall, with the band. Roger played trumpet, David mandolin, and with Nick on tambourine the ensemble trooped offstage, leaving the hall ringing with cheers.
Roger's current live version of The Wall is mid-way through its world tour and has been receiving rave reviews for its production values, updated from the original 1980/1981 shows, which at the time were acclaimed as the pinnacle of live musical presentation.
