My father always played Pink Floyd songs for me as lullabies when I struggled to fall asleep.
We grew up with your music as the soundtrack of our lives.
We watched the Berlin ‘90 concert so many times we knew every line by heart.
Then, in 2024, I finally took him to a Roger Waters concert here in Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil — paying for the tickets myself.
It was his first international concert, his first time ever hearing Pink Floyd songs live.
He’s in his sixties now and cried like I’d never seen before.
He said he never thought that, after facing life’s battles and only enjoying those songs on LPs and CDs, he’d ever deserve such a moment.
It was pure joy, happiness, and a true father–daughter bond.
You’ve always been part of our lives, and I’m so thankful to have shared that with him.
Looking forward to a full-band concert to relive it all again. <3
