Is There Anybody Out There?

The album was released to commemorate the 20th anniversary of The Wall and The Wall Tour.

It captured the full concert experience, including the opening Master of Ceremonies chat - telling the audience what to expect, when the show was due to begin, and so on. Later, during the second half, the Master of Ceremonies returned but his speech was altered to represent the changes to the narrative.

The Last Few Bricks, just before Goodbye Cruel World, was a freeform jam used each night of The Wall concerts to enable those handling the bricks, and building the wall itself, to complete it if they were running a little behind.
