Abyhnho

For 50 years this album has been moving me, sometimes to tears, with it’s beauty and power.

In about 1978 I fell in love with a girl visiting Australia from New Caledonia. I foolishly sent her the postcard from the album when she returned home. Never heard from her or saw her again, but the memory lingers on just as the haunting refrain from your song.

And now if I was to fall stranded on a desert island with only one disc to listen to, this would be it and it would still save my soul.

Thank you and wish you were here too.
