You, from the beginning was something intense. From the violence of The Wall Movie that made me anxious and terrified when I was just 5 years old and through my life, until I met a girl that showed me your other side. I’ve tried to conquer my fears and, when I did, it was very close to your last concert at Live 8, so there I was, watching you from my tv, from fear to admiration, seeing you play for the last time as a fan and, when I heard Comfortably Numb ‘s solo for the first time live, really live, I’ve decided that I wanted to became like you, a musician. I’ve bought a acoustic guitar and learned to play. 17 Years later I’ve released my first EP, during the pandemics, No Land To Returns, heavily inspired by you and other artists.
So what I wanted to say is
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I am the artist what I am today because of you and I don’t see nothing different from this. See you on the other side, my friends.
