I am grateful to be able to write such distinguished gentlemen such as yourselves, whose impact on music is transcendent. Your musical accolades are bountiful and your impact on culture and musical culture is and has been cemented for a very long time.
On a personal level, your music was key in making me aware that music could be and was much more than simplistic strings, much more than melody, but that music could be used to channel feeling, messages and create life-changing impact. You certainly have had a profound impact on mine at only 29 years old, and I believe that your music will continue to have positive impacts on my life for the next 29+ years.
