Ever since I was little, I remember listening to your songs playing in my dad’s car on my way to school. I paid little attention to the words you sang, but the melodies stayed; even at such a young age, I loved your music because just like my dad, I grew up singing along to your tunes. Many years had passed since then, and I had developed my own musical taste, but I still enjoyed those songs as much as I did the first time I listened to them. However, I had never taken the time to listen to an entire album and dive deeper, so I attempted to listen to The Dark Side of the Moon; this album changed my entire perspective on music as a whole. When I thought it couldn’t get better, I listened to The Wall: pure ecstasy. I was utterly obsessed and continued exploring more albums that have now become my comfort zone. I want to thank you for creating music, but more than that, an experience; for igniting a passion that I thought I’d lost.
