I’m glad you are here and I know you always will be with me. When I discovered Pink Floyd as a teen in the mid 80’s, I briefly thought I missed everything as the current album was aptly named The Final Cut. That was a fleeting moment because so much more followed and like what came before it was all genuine and otherworldly fantastic.
I’ve loved you for 40 years so far. Some highlights include the Orange Bowl show in torrential rain which was my first Pink Floyd concert, Seeing Pink Floyd and Roger Waters many times in the US, London, and France. Attending Roger’s Dark Side tour and the Wall tour with my best friend and hearing Echoes live with David and Rick at the Radio City Music Hall.
I have and always will be captivated and inspired by you. And I’m glad to know your art remains timeless and will be cherished by future generations.
