Pink Floyd was never a favorite of mine for most of my life. My mother loves Wish You Were Here but every time it came on the radio I just thought it’s more of her country music. When I was 16 I spent a month listening to all the classic albums that everyone loves including The Wall. After I heard it I was shocked like any person would be hearing that masterpiece of a album. I watched the movie and it was the best thing I’ve seen at that time. After that I decided I like these Pink guys and I should listen to their discography and it did suprise me hearing Syd Baretts psychedelic songs Piper really felt amazing to listen to it had this childlike wonder to it. A Saucerful Of Secrets was the same but instead of wonder it left me feeling enthusiastic to what was to come. I loved it all but meddle was just something else and I swear it better be played at my funeral in full. Every track to this day holds some value to me. Dark side of the moon was of course amazing. Best discography ever.
