I’m writing to you today, to let you know the impact you have had on my life. My father passed away 7 years ago, and for years, he listened to “The Dark Side of the Moon” every day of his life. I’m not exaggerating. He was disabled, lost both his legs and on dialysis. Your music was one of the only joys in his later years. Together we would sit and listen to the album front to back. He had been a fan since first hearing the LP when it released in the 70s, and it stayed with him ever since. I held his hand as he laid on his death bed, and we listened to it one last time, as he left for greener pastures. Now, every time I hear a track from DSOTM, I’m immediately transported back to a simpler time, singing along with my dad. So thank you, I know we will all see each other once again on the Dark Side of the Moon.
Sincerely,
Corey
