Thank you, guys, for being such a bright light when I discovered you guys in the utter darkness that was the life of a depressed and lonely 16-year-old kid. I don’t know who or what I would’ve become if I hadn’t discovered the sounds of Shine on You Crazy Diamond, Breathe, or the countless classics that calmed and have taken me to worlds and places I could’ve never imagined. ‘Wish You Were Here’ is an album I’ve listened to countless times and have each second, and every note memorized by heart.
It’s like that shot of whiskey or puff of a cigarette that helps me get through the day. Even if just for a few moments.
