Thank you for being everywhere, every time I needed you and even when I thought I didn’t.
Every great and terrible moment that has shaped who I am, every trial and celebration, every remarkable and unremarkable event has been colored by your music. Heartache and loss, joy and celebration, the birth of my children and grandchildren, nights under the stars and long days through my youth, adolescence, adulthood and now accelerating into middle age, have been enhanced, better or worse.
Im so grateful to exist in a period of time and in this form, on this planet, having been to a few of your performances and posessing many of your recorded works.
You have touched every part of my life. I love what you’ve given to the world.
You’ve saved us all more than once.
Again, thank you.
