Jake

I just want to say thanks for the music. I discovered Pink Floyd through my dad when I was in high-school about 7-8 years ago. I can distinctly remember listening to Dark Side of The Moon and The Wall for the first time, I wasn’t in the best place but I think those albums are what I needed to hear at the time and helped me through the roughest part of my life. My senior quote in the yearbook was the final chours of Learning to Fly. It was through our mutual love of the band that I met my girlfriend of 5 and a half years. Pink Floyd was the first band I ever really got into on a personal level and remains my favorite to this day. David Gilmour is the reason I picked up playing guitar. I know the odds of Dave or Nick ever seeing this are pretty slim, but if they ever did I want them to know that their music is still having an effect on people, even those of us who were born after The Division Bell.
Shine on…
