I met you when i was in my active addiction using all kinds of substances in the 1990’s. And in that time your music was amazing but mostly just being high music to me. My addiction came to a crashing end and seeked help. After coming clean in 2004 i thought your music would not sound anything like it used to. But i was so wrong. When my head was clear your music hit on another level. I began to understand the lyrics and really feel the music. You have been with me the whole trip and now i have been drug free for 22 years. I have lost my parents and everytime i hear Wish you were here i am in tears. When i hear Shine on , i remember some friends that did not make it. The whole album and many others gives me some memories from the past. The memories i have accepted but need to remember to stay in my path. This new life led me to be able to travel and see Gilmour in France Nimes and also in Rome Circo Massimo. That guitar is just my happy place. THANK YOU!
