My Dad died this year.
When he got his first CD player, the first CD he bought was Dark Side of the Moon. The speakers were mounted on the wall and it blew my mind.
I became a fan.
I few years later, when I had saved my pocket money, I bought Wish You Were Here on vinyl. I played it for my Dad. He loved that he’d passed down his music taste to me.
At his funeral I had been put in charge of the music.
I chose Wish You Were Here.
I cried my heart out.
I miss him so much.
Thank you for being a massive part of our lives. I know it would’ve meant a lot to Dad.
