When I was a kid, my Mother passed away and my father was in and out of drug rehabs so I went to live with my grandparents. When I got a little older (around 12 years old) my grandfather passed away as well. This sent me into a depression and I didn’t think anybody could understand what I was going through. I would visit my father on the weekends and one time not too long after my grandfather’s funeral, my father saw how I was feeling and he said “would you like to hear one of my favorite albums ?” And I was bored so I agreed. He puts in the cd for “The Wall” and the moment that “In the Flesh?” Began to shake the entire house, I knew I was listening to something really special. After I finished “The Wall” I wanted to hear more so I went out to a Brit Floyd concert. I’ve been in love with Floyd ever since. Finally there was music that understood my soul. These albums helped shape me as a person, and for that I am grateful. Much Love ❤️
