Your music could soothe as the words spoke of my life, the hopes and dreams, the aspirations, and sometimes the heartbreak, disappointment, and the loneliness, and isolation. Always, the songs could provide a safe haven from the angst of the boredom of everyday life. and the hardships of loss.
Over the years, I could be lifted above it all, and find some solace: a reprieve, and be inspired to go on.
To close my eyes and listen, I knew I could rise above it all. Your music could and still does inspire me; and can carry me far, far away….
