Just like the many melodies you’ve sent through time, I can barely use words to explain the extraordinary sensations I felt with your songs, I have to admit I’m a young and recent fan, but somehow it feels like my entire life has been guiding me towards the moment I first listened to The Dark Side of the Moon, it was different for me, I never felt something like that listening to any song or record in my life, it changed how I understood music and art as a whole. Wish You Were Here was beyond that step, it made me understand how much one simple yet unexplainable feeling could make someone create such a beautiful, meaningful and complete piece. It’s my favorite album ever, so take it as biased if you want, but I don’t think I will ever hear something that makes me feel so many types of grief and yearning, and a wonderful tune as a bonus. Well, it’s hard to believe this was recorded 50 years ago, it does feels like it belongs in the past, yet it feels like it will belong in the future.
