When I was younger, I couldn’t really understand the music of Pink Floyd. My dad has taken me to some local-band-tribute to Pink Floyd, but that didn’t change too much. I heard some of the highlights and my most favourite song from that gig was RLH, cause, you know, it was fast. But then, in about a year, I was travelling to Cologne by train. 4 a.m. And suddenly, Shine On You Crazy Diamond appeared in my head out of nothing. I turned it on and was listening to both of them the whole day. After that I learnt that The Wall had some plot in it, so I read it and later listened to the album. I don’t remember what happened next, but the fact is, I really love Pink Floyd now. I’ve been to Brit Floyd’s concert with my dad and it was just awesome. Even though there’s no more chance to hear and see the real Pink Floyd live, such groups do a very hard work, bringing the closest experience. David Gilmour is one of my main inspirers in playing guitar. I’m very thankful to him for everything.
