We played it all Summer in Chelmsley Wood
That was weirder still in 88 on a council estate
Then when the Term started at Leeds
It seemed so far
In Autumn
We played Wish you were here
It broke our hearts
But we loved it
It became our place
Our Anthem for life
I painted 2 lost souls swimming in a fish bowl
Every time I hear that crackly start
It takes me right back
but I still savour the little listening journey
Enjoy the pain all over again
54 now
I felt welcome in your time machine so a part of me stayed
so I can return and visit you again and again
