Hi, I’m Matheus, I’m 16 years old, and I wanted to thank you all, especially Syd Barrett, because Pink Floyd changed my life. Since I was 14, in 2023, I was dying to have a copy of The Dark Side of the Moon, it cost almost R$100. My dad wanted to buy it for me, but my mom didn’t want to. My dad bought it anyway, and it was the decision that changed my life the most. My birthday this year was even Pink Floyd themed; my girlfriend gave me Animals, Atom Heat, and Wish You Were Here. I listen to many of your songs every day. My dad taught me to like you, and I love it. Everyone who sees a prism in physics class says to me, “OHHH PINKK FLOYYDDD,” you guys are the best.You guys left your mark, you transformed a gray world into a colorful one, honestly, I’m not a typical fan, I think, my favorites are Time, Lucifer Sam, Ibza Bar, Shine on Crazy.You are definitely my favorite band of all time.
