my name is Matilde. When I was six years old, I used to spend a lot of time alone with my dad and he used to put on your music all the time. He’s always been a huge fan of yours, and he loves the album The Wall deeply. He would put on a song on Youtube and then he would translate it to me so I could understand what it was about (as much as I could. I remember one particular afternoon, the summer before I started first grade, when I try to act like I was in the clip of Another Brick in The Wall pt.2, throwing chairs around the living room as he laughed and asked me not to get hurt. Even now, listening to your music brings us very close together: sometimes, when I buy a new cd and I put it on my stereo for my first listen, he joins me for a few minutes and we stare, jaw dropped, at the stereo together.
Recently, I managed to get a video of us as we sing the second chorus of Comfortably Numb, his favourite song.
