I was introduced to Pink Floyd in 1995 . I was !5 and by boyfriend put on a VHS of “the wall” . That was eye opening in so many ways that evolved into deeper meanings to me over the last 30 years. “Wish you were here” became a song that just emotionally connected me to the early ,unexpected passing of my lilltle sister Becky. Who died at only 30. And bc my Dad passed a year prior I ,I sing the lyrics and can feel their souls with me. And remember the love for them will always be in my soul. “,How I wish you were here” .is something say to myself ,thinking about them, at any time that I wish they were still here bc of how I know they would have reacted about whatever was happening In that moment. Thank you for such extraordinary lyrics, music , and originality and creativity ,that can never be reproduced . Pink Floyd , your music is not just heard by my ears . It is felt in my soul.
