I lost my father four months ago to a rare form of cancer. He was the biggest Pink Floyd fan I’ve ever known .
Your music was part of him, of our home, of our memories. Thanks to him, I listen to your music today, and I’ve become a Pink Floyd fan myself.
Every note makes me feel like he’s still here, somewhere, right beside me.
Even though he never liked tattoos, he had started to accept the idea of me getting one. A few weeks before he passed away, I told him I wanted to get a tattoo of the Wish You Were Here album cover, his favorite song. Now, more than ever, that idea feels like a way to keep him close to me.
Thank you for your music, and for this invisible bond between him and me. ❤️
