I judged you for a long time, wasted a couple years comparing you to my favorite band and not giving you a chance… foolish, considering everyone for what’s practically been 50 years has been singing your praises. Watched The Wall after I was disappointed by The Who’s TOMMY. I’d heard these songs before…!
Like many, The Wall (and miscellaneous Dark Side of the Moon tracks which got popular) was my main introduction to you guys. But my favorites will always be Wot’s… Uh the Deal? (whose title confuses me to this day), Grantchester Meadows, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, and See Emily Play.
What is there to say?
I am glad everyone was in the place and the time they were for all this to happen. I am glad I have the opportunity to listen to this music.
