Thanks to Pink Floyd, I now know that music is not something you listen to, it’s something you live. It is possible to use sound as an organism of communication to lead us on a journey through infinite and alternate realities. You managed to save me from many things I’ve been through, helped me find an escape from everything that was wrong, and much of your music reflected what I didn’t dare to express. Truly, thank you so much, you were a great help in my life. You helped me reach a state where I was able to feel a peace I had never felt before with myself, with my social circle, and with my family. Your music didn’t teach me to be indifferent, but rather to remain calm and hopeful when everything seems lost. Along with your music, I understood that suffering, getting frustrated, stuck, or stressed in situations that demand it won’t change anything, it will only make things worse. Your music carries a lyricism that allows the listener’s soul, finally, to rest a little.
Thank you.
