The first Pink Floyd album, and the first album in fact that I listened to was The Wall. Though I didn’t fully understand the album until watching the movie and listening to it many more times, it still left a gargantuan impression on me and it opened me up to an artform I had completely overlooked before, music, and now music is my entire life, you’ve inspired me to pick up an old guitar my uncle gave me. Since the first time I heard The Wall I’ve checked out your entire discography and it’s all amazing but The Wall will always hold a special place in my heart as my favourite album of all time, it’s helped me get through my darkest days.
