BBC Radio 4 made a fabulous documentary in 2003 called Welcome ro the Dark Side presented by Matthew Parris.

According to the BBC “Matthew Parris sheds a little light on Pink Floyd’s, ‘Dark Side of the Moon’. Thirty years after the album first astonished an unsuspecting public, he evaluates what it did for contemporary music, and an entire generation of young listeners”.

I always find a way to refer my audio and radio students to listen to it. It encapsulated the story, concept, and exquisite artistic brilliance of the work. BBC must repeat it. Once they hear it, they are smitten, and another generation plays it forward.

The world is a better place because of Pink Floyd.
