Thank you for the memories I have been able to make alongside and share with your music. There will never ever be another band that can possibly produce such magical pieces of music like you guys. To this day, “Comfortably Numb” stands as the song that, I believe, has the best guitar solo of all time, and tears almost always stream down my cheeks every time I hear it. I think of my late uncle every time I hear it, knowing he and my dad owned some Pink Floyd on CD (that being Meddle and The Wall).
Pink Floyd is a band that many generations have been able to find enjoyment in, from the elderly to the youth. That is an accomplishment that can only be rivaled by the Beatles and some of other British peers. The fact that your music was able to find me at such a young age is utterly wonderful, and I have no regrets being a fan to this day.
