I remember all the good and bad times I have listened to the music for many different reasons: sometimes to escape reality and other times to think about life. One thing is constant though, it always has been there to make each moment fly even higher (like pigs on the wing).
Pink Floyd is certainly my favorite band and their songs have influenced me as an individual to grow creatively and socially. Nowadays, even with my musical taste a lot more refined, I still listen to Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall and others as much as before; each time getting better and better.
To cherish such intellectual material with friends and family is a gift that wouldn’t be possible without all the work put now and 50 years ago. Therefore, thank you for all the great, quirky, funny, amazing and masterful albums and singles with Syd, David, Richard, Nick and Roger.
May we all embark on the endless river.
