You have inspired me and changed me as a person from the first moment I listened to you. I remember when I was 16 and got my first record player and the first album I purchased was Wish You Were Here. Shine On You Crazy Diamond was what got me hooked. The story behind that album was so devastating yet inspiring.
I have been obsessed ever since. Now I own all 15 studio albums on vinyl as well as a couple of special editions. My favorite was always Meddle and I was swept away with the Pompeii performance of Echoes. There was never an official pressing of Live at Pompeii and I always looked for a knock off whenever I went to a shop (I only look in person, online is cheating) and had my mom looking as well. For 6 years!!! I just about had a heart attack when I saw it was being remastered this year. Echoes, especially that version, has touched my soul in ways I can’t even describe.
