First time I heard you I was thirteen, riding around in a Corvair while half of my buddies were tripping on acid.
Dark Side Of The Moon was playing on the 8 track. That left a lasting impression on me then.
Later I began buying your other records; Meddle. Wish You Were Here, Momentary Lapse Of Reason.
When you came to Atlanta in 1987, me and my girlfriend at the time, Lisa, saw you perform. It was an excellent concert, Waters wasn’t missed at all.
I still have the T-shirt from that show..
I have bough several more box sets of live shows you’ve released over tge years.
I’m so glad to have been a teenager when you became popular in the USA.
Just this morning, as I pulled in the parking lot so very early…like 3:45 am, Welcome To The Machine began playing. I sat in my truck and listened to it until the song finished. A nice start to normal day.
Thanks for the memories!!
