Tara Faber

My daddy introduced me to Pink Floyd when I was a little girl. It quickly became my favorite band and no matter the situation there was always a song to fit. In 2001 I met Jasch, we played the typical 21 questions game. I asked “Who’s your favorite band?” Thinking he was clever he replied “Roger Waters and David Gilmour.” I was like “Pink Floyd!” He said “wow Tara, you know who that is??!!” I said “Doesn’t everyone?” Jasch laughed and said “No, Tara.” He told my dad, that was the moment he knew he was going to marry me. In 2004, we got married and that same year had our daughter Avala who from womb on we played Pink Floyd for her so that same love and appreciation carried on. Wish you were here was our song and those lyrics mean more now than ever. In 2024 Jasch passed away from Glioblastoma brain cancer. And everyday, I wish he was here…
