I was first turned on to Pink Floyd by my older brother, it was when the album The Wall came out. I may have been about 16. I never knew that my love for Pink Floyd , would also connect my husband and children so deeply . You see our first date was at a “Laser Floyd” light show , in Salt Lake City, Utah. Unbeknownst to me, my husband and his only brother grew up on Floyd in Texas, . We have three daughters as does his brother. His brother John’s family is deeply connected with the love of Pink Floyd as well. At his memorial, it was only fitting to play Wish you were here. Now as we are older and death is inevitable, I know it will only be fitting to play Pink Floyd at my husband’s funeral , if he goes before me.
Thank you , for incredible music, the touches and binds together many generations..
Sincerely,
