Dear Pink Floyd,
You were my first true love. I was around 12 years old when I started listening to you, and now at 51, your music has been a constant presence in my life—soothing me, consoling me, and guiding me through every chapter. You’ve always been my favorite band, and to this day, every holiday or birthday I somehow end up with something Pink Floyd—it’s become a tradition that makes me smile every time.
I have endless respect and love for the entire band and for all the artistry, creativity, and unseen effort that goes into the music, the sound, and the vision.
David, I’ll admit—most of my boyfriends have been a little jealous of you (not that they ever had a reason to be… come on now!). I’m not in love with you, but I do love and deeply admire you and what you’ve brought into this world.
Thank you for being good humans, and for being the light when the darkness gets too heavy. Your music has always reminded me that beauty can still exist even in the storm.
With love ❤️
